Saturday 16 October; an introduction to book binding.

Make a beautiful A5 hardback notebook covered in coloured book cloth of your own choice and your own choice of lined, paper or dot grid paper. As a bonus you also learn how to make a paper pocket book from upcycled pieces of paper you find at home.

Friday 22 October; Print making.

Using the techniques of lino printing and collage, experienced local artist Marie will take you through how to turn an image of your choice into a beautiful print.

Create your own course.

We can work with you to create a bespoke course for you arranged on a date which is mutually convenient. Half and full-day courses can be arranged depending on your plans. What about a birthday party making a diary each to keep your thoughts and ideas for the coming year or learning to crochet together with a group of friends?

Friday 15 October; making a wrap around leather journal

Using upcycled upholstery leather you can make the perfect Christmas present; a journal in which somebody can keep their thoughts ideas and sketches for the coming year ahead.

Saturday 23 October; Crochet Remembrance Poppy

Learn to crochet your own poppy brooch for Remembrance Sunday. Suitable for beginners or those with some crochet experience. We will donate £5 per person to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Sunday 24 October; portraiture

A one-day workshop in portraiture led by experienced artists Di Brookes.  Participants can choose their own medium and decide whether to paint from a photograph or a self-portrait using a mirror.

Friday 24 September; making a large poseable animal.

Come and spend the day making an adorable poseable needle felted animal alongside experienced felting artists Eve Marshall.  A lovely afternoon tea-style lunch is included in the price in the peaceful surroundings of The Old School at Old School Crafts.
