We have been working on our social media quite a lot recently as well as stocking our Etsy shop. However, we realise this means we have been rather neglecting updating our website so our plan is to have a Wednesday update of our website. Here we hope to update our activity elsewhere and give some more background to current and future developments in our business. So with that in mind, welcome to our first Wednesday update.
Our Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/OldSchoolCraftsLincs is filling up with more of our range of archaeology inspired crafted items. Using actual archaeological items for inspiration you can find everything from Celtic brooches to ancient Greek inspired salad servers. More items are going on our shelves every day and you will soon be able to buy other items such as Roman TOT rings, found in Lincolnshire!
In the bindery we have recently completed a lovely A4 notebook for a client who wanted a large hand bound notebook for recording their training schedule. The A3 lined paper was sourced from https://bookshellbindery.com/ which has a range of high quality papers for book binding. I liked the colourway so much that I am now making three A5 books using a similar style of cloth spine and paper cover. You can see updates on our Facebook page; just search for @oldschoolcraftsminting.
We also had an order for a Happiness Kit in a heart-shaped box from our website. Don’t forget you can ask for any message at all on one of our boxes in the Boxatrix range; they are individually made to order and so you can have a particular name and message of your choice.
We are excited to possibly have a stall at some forthcoming Craft Fairs at The Collection in Lincoln in June, August and then later in the Autumn. More details to follow and of course everything is COVID willing at the moment.
So things are moving forward with the business although everything is held back by COVID restrictions and we look forward to running courses again as well as selling our crafts at craft fairs.
So that is the last of our first Wednesday updates; more next week!
