After over a year of no courses we have finally decided it is safe to put on some new courses for the summer. We have decided to wait until after 21 June when all should be back to normal and we will of course still ensure everything is COVID safe. However, we have three courses for people to choose from.
A hand-cut lino printing workshop which will be run by Marie, a local artist who will take the students through the process of turning a photograph into a lovely lino-printed and collaged piece of art.
A Leather Journal workshop which will be half a day and David will support the students in make a beautiful leather bound wrap-around journal from upcycled leather.
Our normal and ever-popular Introduction to Bookbinding course which is full day course taking students through the entire and ancient process of making books by hand.
Regular readers of this blog will recognise the leather wrap-around books are very similar to the oldest books found as I wrote a blog about them a few weeks ago.
To book a course just head on over to our shop on the website and scroll to the bottom to add the course to your basket. Don’t forget to complete the contact form so that we can get back in touch with you.
